  • What does it cost to list?

    Listing is free. Venu takes a 10% platform fee on confirmed bookings — you keep 90%. No subscription, no listing fees, no surprises.

  • When do I get paid?

    Deposits and balance payments are held in Stripe Connect and released to your bank ~24 hours after the event completes. Stripe Express handles the bank verification for you.

  • Do I need to be a registered business?

    Not to start. Individual sole-traders can list and accept bookings. For tax reasons we recommend setting up an ABN once you start earning regularly.

  • Can I list both a venue and a service?

    Yes. The same account can host venues and offer services (e.g. a venue that also has an in-house DJ). You manage them from one dashboard.

  • Who handles insurance and liability?

    You're responsible for appropriate insurance for your operation. Bookings include a basic damage deposit; we recommend you also hold public liability cover.
